CANCELLATION, RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Thank you for shopping with Spring Cakes. We pride ourselves on delivering delicious, freshly made cakes for all occasions. Please read our returns and refunds policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Perishable Goods Disclaimer

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns on cakes once they have been delivered or collected.

2. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled or amended up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or collection date.
  • Please contact us immediately at info@springcakes.co.uk or 0161 399 2628 to make changes.

3. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

  • If your cake arrives damaged or is not as ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
  • We will either offer a replacement (subject to availability) or a partial refund based on the extent of the issue.

4. Allergy Disclaimer

  • All cakes are made in a kitchen that handles allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, and eggs.
  • While we offer allergen-friendly options, we cannot guarantee the absence of trace allergens.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to notify us of any dietary requirements before placing an order.

5. Refund Eligibility

  • We only accept returns and process refunds for items purchased directly from Spring Cakes by the original buyer.
  • Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:
  • The cake is incorrect (e.g., wrong flavour, design, or inscription).
  • The cake is damaged upon arrival and photographic proof is provided within 24 hours.
  • The order is cancelled within the allowed timeframe (see Clause 2).
  • Refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

  • We do not offer refunds for:
  • Change of mind after the cancellation window.
  • Minor variations in colour or decoration.
  • Delays caused by incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.

7. Returns and Refunds for Non-Perishable Items

  • For non-perishable and non-customised items such as cake accessories or merchandise purchased online:
  • You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the item.
  • You then have another 14 days to return it to us.
  • A full refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

8. Changes to This Policy

  • We reserve the right to update this Returns and Refunds Policy at any time.
  • Any changes will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
